Below are all of our current bible study groups that we are running in our MidWeek Ministry.

We also like to ‘do life’ together as whole church ‘Life Group’ with BBQ Lunch and Games in the park that all ages enjoy, as well as going on Church Adventures; you can register to join a group or church adventure all on the Connect Form.

Night Bible Study with Morie

ZOOM Bible Study on the second and fourth Wednesday nights of every month (7.30 to 8.30 pm)

Two options are available for participation:

(1) Join in via zoom from your own home or
(2) Zoom in with Frank and Linda Cowell at their home …. and enjoy some (non-electronic) fellowship too! If you are planning to zoom to the Cowells, please consider bringing something to share for supper.

Our 2 Women’s MidWeek Ministry Groups

Our ladies range from in their early 30’s and our oldest lady has turned 90 this year!

We love our KYB study so much that some of our youngest women are reluctant to give up their Friday mornings and Thursday nights for anything else other than to study alongside this amazing group of older women and learn from their experience and wisdom as we are called to do by Paul in Titus 2:3-5.

Both groups are almost finished for the year now, however you are welcome to Register to join us in Term 1 of the new year in 2023.

Bev’s Thursday Night Women’s CWCI – Know Your Bible Study

Kay’s Friday Morning Women’s CWCI – Know Your Bible Study

If you are free on a Friday morning, Kay’s Bible Study Group is currently open and running each week for you to join in. We would also love for you join us for some lunch at a local cafe for some extra fellowship afterwards.

Church BBQ in the Park & Church Adventures with Rick

Each term our church loves to ‘do life together’ by getting out into the community for some fellowship, fun and ADVENTURE!

At Beaches Baptist Church we are truly blessed to have some amazing people in our church who have played a huge part in the Mackay community over the years and STILL Love ‘Loving Others’ by Serving Others in our church with their gifts!

Many, many years ago Rick Williams (now celebrating his 86th birthday) was a Camp Leader and Coordinator for Scripture Union Queensland, who ran many outdoor adventure camps for children and youth all over Mackay. Rick has a passion for getting outdoors and so we are blessed that he is still passionate about doing adventure activities for our kid’s and families at church.
