Frank Cowell

Frank is very much involved in the wider Mackay community, and at BBC, Frank serves as a Deacon in our fellowship.
Frank is the convenor of SHED HAPPENS in Mackay. This is a highly valued and appreciated gathering of men who meet on the 3 rd Wednesday of every month at 6pm, at the Mackay Christian College undercover area. They enjoy a BBQ dinner and fellowship with men who share trust, encouragement and life’s experiences. Shed Happens has the motto: No bloke ever went backward with encouragement!
Frank also convenes the INTERNATIONAL MEN’S DAY each year in Mackay. This event recognises men in our community who are leaders in their family and the community, upholding high values of manhood, such as caring, sharing and leading. International Men’s Day incorporates an annual Art Show centred around male leaders; Mackay Man of the Year Award and a Corporate Breakfast that business in the community
sponsor. All men are welcome to participate in these events.
